We offer custom club fitting utilizing technology from Accusport and V1. We offer custom club building and club repair in our Mitchell Golf equipped repair center, helping the golfer realize a better game through properly fit and maintained equipment.


Derek Cordova, Director of Instruction
Founder Professional Golf Instruction Institute

Derek was born in Fort Collins and starting playing golf at City Park Nine at age 12. He worked as a range kid knowing then he wanted to pursue a career as a golf professional. He’s always had a passion to teach golf and recognizes that every ones golf swing is unique to them. He has taught over 25,000 lessons during his 20 year career as a teaching professional. Derek is also a student of the game dedicating thousands of hours to the study of the golf swing, and recognizes there is no one teaching method for every golfer.

In 2008 Derek achieved PGA Certified Professional status in four areas of expertise; Instruction, Golf Operations, General Management and Executive Management.

Jack Sommers - PGA Instructor

Jack is a Certified PGA Professional with over 30 years of experience in teaching and playing. He's a 4 time Colorado Section PGA Champion, competed on the PGA Tour in 1979 and the Champion Tour in 2001 and 2002. Jack competed in 3 PGA Championships, US Open, US Senior Open and is a member of the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame.

Jack is an accomplished instructor in all areas of swing analysis. He works with his students to understand their skill level, define achievable goals, and prescribes a system for success to improve both the physical and mental part of their game. Jack's approach is to customize a learning program for each student emphasizing the ultimate goal "learning to shoot lower scores".


Bob Herzog  -  Clubmaker and Assistant Teaching Professional

Bob is a PCS (Professional Clubmakers' Society) certified "Class A" clubmaker as well as a Mitchell Golf certified club repair technician and performance fitting specialist. Bob has been building clubs since the early 90's and is now working on this PCS Certified "Class A" Clubfitter certification. Bob specializes in properly fit equipment, from building a frequency matched set from the ground up or just improving a players existing equipment by correcting loft and lie, length adjustments, shaft changes or grip replacement. Bob strives to help golfers realize a better game through properly fit and maintained equipment.
